This simple Lion’s Mane tea highlights the mushroom’s natural earthiness while delivering a calming, functional brew. Dried Lion’s Mane is gently simmered to extract its flavor, beneficial compounds, and cognitive-supporting properties, optionally paired with ginger or cinnamon for added warmth. After a short infusion, the tea is strained and lightly sweetened to taste. It’s an easy, approachable way to enjoy Lion’s Mane as a daily ritual or soothing afternoon drink.
Ingredients
- 2 tbsp dried Lion’s Mane mushrooms
- 4 cup of water
- 1 teaspoon of honey or sweetener of choice (optional)
- 1 slice of fresh ginger or cinnamon stick for extra flavor (optional)
Instructions
- Bring 4 cups of water to a boil, once boiling reduce to a simmer
- Add 2 tbsp dried Lion’s Mane. Now’s also a good time to add ginger or cinnamon if desired
- Simmer Lion’s Mane for 15-20 minutes. This allows the mushroom and spices to thoroughly infuse the water
- Strain the liquid using a fine mesh strainer or cheese clothe to separate out the solids
- Add honey or sweetener
- Enjoy!
